FAQs.
Have questions about our lawn care services? We’ve answered the most common ones below to help you feel confident in your lawn care decisions.
What does your lawn treatment program include?
Our programs are designed to build a thick, healthy lawn through seasonal fertilization, weed control, soil health treatments, and targeted pest prevention. Each visit supports steady growth and long-term turf health.
How many treatments are in your program?
Our lawn treatment programs include 5–6 steps, spaced approximately 6 weeks apart. Most of our programs also include fall aeration. This timing ensures consistent nutrition and ongoing weed and pest control throughout the growing season.
Can you eliminate weeds in my lawn?
Yes. Most common weeds are easy for us to control and eliminate with routine treatments. There is a small list of difficult-to-control weeds (like nutsedge, wild violet, or ground ivy) that may take longer to fully eliminate. We identify these during service and create a targeted plan to manage them effectively.
How long until I see fewer weeds?
You’ll notice improvement after the first visit, but full weed control takes place gradually as the program builds. Difficult weeds may require multiple specialized treatments over time.
Are your lawn treatments safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Once the product is completely dry, typically within 1–2 hours, the lawn is safe for normal activity. We always notify you of any special instructions after each treatment.
Can you help with bare spots or thin areas?
Yes. While treatments improve overall health, bare spots typically require seeding or aeration. We can assess your lawn and recommend the best renovation options.
Do treatments work if it rains?
Light rain usually doesn’t affect treatment performance. If heavy rain or extreme conditions could impact a visit, we adjust timing to ensure you get the best results.
How soon will my lawn look better?
Most lawns show noticeable improvements within a few weeks, with the biggest transformation occurring over the course of the full program.
Can I start a program anytime during the season?
Yes! You can join at any point in the year. We’ll begin with the appropriate seasonal treatment and adjust your plan so your lawn stays on track.
What can I do to help my lawn look its best between treatments?
The biggest contributors are:
– Mowing at the proper height
– Watering properly
– Avoiding over‑ or under‑watering
– Keeping mower blades sharp
Together with our treatments, these practices create a strong, healthy lawn.
